About

On-site research · Biology lab · Student projects

At Fulton Science Academy, students have the opportunity to pursue research on site in the Biomedical & Bioinformatics Laboratory.

Students can begin through the Introductory Biology Lab Club, where they learn basic research skills and laboratory expectations. After building a foundation, students may join specialized groups to explore more focused topics in biomedical science, bioinformatics, engineering, and related fields.

Students who do not find a perfect match in an existing group can apply to pursue an independent research topic. If accepted, the lab will help them shape the question, plan the experiment or analysis, and carry out the project as effectively as possible.
